Desc: Le soleil se lève à Brest: Directed by Gilles Blaize. They are called Boubarkar, Mamadou, Ildi, and are unaccompanied minors, without family or attachment, supported in Brest, France, by the Departmental Council of Finistère. Engaged in a real race against time, these young people must learn within one or two years the codes of a new culture, a new language and obtain qualifying training, the only condition to hope to win in their majority the precious residence permit. This film focuses on their daily lives. Haunted by a traumatic past, that of the migratory journey, and suspended to an uncertain future, they firmly cling to the present to build here and now a new life.
